“… seek to fulfil what is true …”

2019, was a monumental year for me, personally, I had to say farewell to several people that I loved and cared for deeply, I decided to take a quantum leap of faith by starting my own business while simultaneously dealing with several personal issues. When I looked around me I realised that I was not much different from several people those  close to me and even strangers.  The uncertainty that we live in is a constant, the events that occur to us can be downright disruptitve, leaving us at times with a sense of no control. The general lesson for me  is that life is uncertain, unpredictable, scary, unfair, rewarding, beautiful and underlying all of that is that we should cherish it, not take it for granted, and seek to fulfil what is true to us. For me my intention is to embrace my faith even more as the space of uncertainty and disruption is real. As my mother reminds me there are times that you must walk on water eyes focused on the prize, less you sink, referencing of course he infamous passage of scripture when Peter was able to walk on water while focusing on Jesus.

So as we enter 2020, a new decade, as I encourage myself, I encourage you too, to cherish all that is good in your life, learn from what is not and keep your eyes on your prize, whatever that maybe for you.

Cheers to 2020, May you Blessed with the presence of your God , those you love and who love you.

Be Blessed.
